HELP US NAVIGATE OUR FUTURE

Join the Longhope Lifeboat Museum Steering Committee.
We are launching a bold new era of conservation and storytelling. We need experienced people to help guide our vision. We are looking for someone who can offer strategic advice to our Trustees, oversee the implementation of our new Conservation Plan, and help us reach new audiences.
This is a flexible, high impact volunteer role involving a few meetings a year.

What our visitors say

Had an absolutely fascinating visit to this little gem of a museum. Hugely informative guide brought everything to life, and great to be allowed to go on and inside the old lifeboat. Very inspiring stories of those who volunteer on the boat, and the building itself is in such a beautiful setting. – Scarlet

We were honoured to experience a very honest, open and reflective account of what it really means to live by the sea. This was a very moving experience. – Emma G

A superb hands on museum which is a true tribute to those who have lost their lives serving as part of the RNLI. Run with love and dedication. A privilege to see. – Claire M
